I am very pleased to be able to introduce this new venture and collaboration with Tunis Village, Fayoum.
ARC is now able to offer her resident artists the opportunity to take part (or all) of their residency in the beautiful oasis location of Tunis, Fayoum; where you will experience something completely different from the city buzz of Cairo.
I am also offering residential Creative Writing courses at an eco lodge in the village, of 3 day and 5 day duration (see posting above) giving participants a unique opportunity to take specialised tuition whilst enjoying the oasis surroundings.
This sounds awesome, congratulations! I am an artist who has trained in painting and works in installation. I have visited Egypt twice-Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Nuweiba- both times to inform my artistic practice, along with travel to Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. I would love the opportunity to spend time making art in Egypt's Fayoum desert and gaining a deeper knowledge of the cultural and material environment.
